Ingredients

  • Avocado
    1 pcs
  • Roma tomato
    1 pcs
  • Red onion
    0,5 pcs
  • Coriander (Cilantro)
    3 sprigs
  • Lime
    1 pcs
  • Salt and pepper
     to taste

Cooking instructions

  • 1.

Cut a ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper.

  • 2.

Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy, or leave it slightly chunky if you prefer more texture.

  • 3.

Finely chop half a small red onion. Cut the tomato, remove the seeds, and dice it into small cubes. Add both to the avocado.

  • 4.

Rinse and finely chop the cilantro, then stir in about one tablespoon. Traditional guacamole uses cilantro for its signature Mexican flavor, but if you’re not a fan of cilantro, you can substitute it with parsley.

  • 5.

Squeeze the juice from half a lime and mix well to combine all the ingredients.

  • 6.

Taste and adjust the seasoning with more lime juice, salt, or pepper as needed.

    • Use ripe, room-temperature avocados — they mash easily and have the best flavor.
    • For a creamier texture, mash thoroughly with a fork or potato masher. Avoid using a blender so the guacamole stays fresh and slightly textured.
    • To keep it from turning brown, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface before refrigerating.
    • For a little heat, add a pinch of chopped chili or jalapeño.
