Guacamole
A classic Mexican dip made with avocado, tomato, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Quick to prepare, fresh in flavor, and perfect with snacks, toast, or grilled dishes.
Ingredients
- 1 pcsAvocado
- 1 pcsRoma tomato
- 0,5 pcsRed onion
- 3 sprigsCoriander (Cilantro)
- 1 pcsLime
- to tasteSalt and pepper
Cooking instructions
- 1.
Cut a ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper.

- 2.
Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy, or leave it slightly chunky if you prefer more texture.

- 3.
Finely chop half a small red onion. Cut the tomato, remove the seeds, and dice it into small cubes. Add both to the avocado.

- 4.
Rinse and finely chop the cilantro, then stir in about one tablespoon. Traditional guacamole uses cilantro for its signature Mexican flavor, but if you’re not a fan of cilantro, you can substitute it with parsley.
- 5.
Squeeze the juice from half a lime and mix well to combine all the ingredients.

- 6.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with more lime juice, salt, or pepper as needed.
- Use ripe, room-temperature avocados — they mash easily and have the best flavor.
- For a creamier texture, mash thoroughly with a fork or potato masher. Avoid using a blender so the guacamole stays fresh and slightly textured.
- To keep it from turning brown, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface before refrigerating.
- For a little heat, add a pinch of chopped chili or jalapeño.
